Undergraduate course, Gondar University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2017
Overview Since October 21, 2017, I have been working as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Gondar University, located in Gondar, Ethiopia. In this role, I have been responsible for designing and delivering undergraduate courses, providing academic mentorship, and engaging students in real-world engineering projects. The courses I teach are primarily focused on Electrical Engineering, Computer Networks and Software Engineering.
Responsibilities
As a Lecturer, my core responsibilities include:
- Course Delivery**: Teaching undergraduate students in courses
- Assessment & Evaluation: Designing exams, assignments, and quizzes; providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve their understanding of the course material.
- Student Mentoring: Advising and guiding students in their senior essay projects and engineering projects. Helping students navigate their academic journey and ensuring they meet learning objectives.
- Interactive Learning: Incorporating practical labs, group projects, and discussion-based sessions to encourage active student engagement and enhance their understanding of theoretical concepts.
- Research Involvement: Encouraging students to participate in research projects related to their areas of interest in Computer Engineering.
